Pink Tulips
I don't know about you but I have been giddy this last week. Whether going on a run, walking the dogs or driving around town, I have been just amazed by how beautiful the spring buds are. There is something about spring in the South. Everytime March and April come around I am reminded of how lucky I am to live here!
One of my favorite parts of working at Southern Living was being able to go to the wholesale florist. The freezing cooler, the incredible smells and the gorgeous colors, wow! I loved to go on a Saturday morning, pick up a few bunches of tulips, peonies or greenery and spend the morning arranging. There is something magical about fresh flowers in the house.
The new buds, azaleas and dogwood blossoms have inspired me to search high and low for some of my favorite spring tables...enjoy and happy spring!

Pink tulips and peonies
I love how in this arrangement they bunched certain blossoms together but kept the same hot pink color palette. It really pops against the white linens and mercury glass!

Queen Anne's Lace
What an impact this arragement makes! And it would be so easy to put together! Queen Anne's lace is inexpensive and typically a "filler" flower to me, but here it really shines.

Simple
There is an absolute art to creating a simple, fuss free arragement. Isn't his beautiful iwth the simple white dinnerware, the baby blue linens and the touch of green?

Planted floral
These planted floral arragements are an excellent idea! This December I planted Narsicus bulbs in a giant champagne bucket with moss. They were a beautiful centerpiece that lasted for weeks! It is also fun to watch them grow. What a fun presentation, but you will need to plan ahead!
