This past week, I got a visit from a girl in a truck.
Elizabeth Martin, my childhood best friend, was in Memphis calling on local boutiques on behalf of her employer, Therapy with LA.
Once I got over the disparity between Lizzie's size (tiny) and the size of the truck (not tiny), I was very curious about what was in the truck. I was amazed to find racks of contemporary young women's clothing, organized by designer. Elizabeth makes appointments with boutiques across the southeast, and then makes personal visits in her RV. Buyers are able to hop aboard and view samples before they place orders.

It was fun to get a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes life of a traveling, wholesale fashionista.
