Handmade Valentines

I got a couple of noteworthy gifts today from my students. Among the top was the gigantic heart balloon with Happy Valentine's Day written in cursive, to which one of my students said, in all seriousness, "I don't read Spanish!" (I teach first grade). But at the top was a Jolly Rancher bouquet, that one of my students made with his mother. I just had to share a picture! I, of course, love anything handmade by my students or anything with a little creativity, and this gift had both! Also while I am at it, I wanted to include a picture of one of my favorite local artists, Candice Rawls Boatright, because her calendar makes me smile all year long. Check out her stuff at http://www.thepaperbee.com/.
