WOW, It took a trip to Scott's antique market with Amy, you need to follow her blog for sure, to resurrect a memory and realization of how I got to this point in my life, interested and fascinated with flea markets, French and Italian bric or brac, especially pottery, trays, woodens, chairs, paintings... well there are other things I like for sure.

Anyway, I back-packed all over Europe right after i graduated from UGA, Bachelors of Fine Arts degree, Art Ed. Just me and three Vandy grads all over Europe for the fall of '78. Paris was our last stop and there it was nestled in a pile, a piece of fience pottery, a cream soup/lid and saucer! My treasure from the Paris flea market, hand carried home, honorably placed in each home for 33 years.
I'll tell you about my big Scott's purchase later, but let's just say for now I own 16 more cream soups/lids saucers plus 100 other pieces of Italian pottery, mint condition and for sale, wonderful!
I truly hope you will enjoy this blog, Boxwoods to Boudoirs... a dream of mine for several years; a way to delight and inspire you, from outside places to inside spaces. You will journey the creative endeavors of five clever, creative christian ladies. I'm Jill: wife, mother and plein air painter. Check out my "girls" as I so fondly refer to them, one being my daughter, Chancey, Vandy grad, her childhood friend, Cam, Ole Miss grad, Amy, who married one of Chancey and Cam's best boy friends, also a UGA grad and Paige, Auburn grad, Chancey's dear friend from Memphis. I love them all... I know you will too!!
